A historical dramedy about teenage Mary Shelley and the forbidden romance, unexpected pregnancies, and great loss that led to her eventual creation of Frankenstein. 

Mary and Percy Shelley leave everything behind and become outcasts to society when they run away together in 1814, consumed by new, hippie ideals. But with absolute freedom, there are consequences. Much like the characters in her novel, Mary is soon faced with the great sacrifices that trail behind creation. 

When her nine-year-old outcast daughter runs away from their hometown, a single mother and her seventeen-year-old must mend their fractured relationship and find her. 

This is a slice-of-life that circles around what happens when alienated people are forced to come together, and when a picture perfect small town descents into absolute chaos.
